Decorated version of the 8215 (Miyota's sheet highlights fine finishing on the barrel bridge; Caliber Corner adds that it has a cut-out rotor). Specs are otherwise identical to the 8215 on Miyota's combined 8215/8205/821A/ 820A sheet: 11½ lignes (Φ26.00mm), 5.67mm high, 21 jewels, 21,600 vph, running time "more than 42 hours", -20 to +40 s/day, posture difference under 50 s, lift angle 49°. Miyota's site now marks the 821A as discontinued. Hacking: Miyota's instruction manual says the seconds hand starts again when the crown is pushed in, and Caliber Corner reports a stop-seconds device was added around mid-2019; earlier 821As do not hack. 820A is the decorated day-date version.
