About this entry

79% of key specs known. Missing: hardening, lume, end links, clasp micro-adjust.

Vaer's quartz dress watch with small seconds at 6 and no date, assembled in Japan (Vaer's first Japan-made watch); the 34mm C1 Ceremony (18mm lugs, launched May 2026) is a separate model. Launched in Gold and Silver in December 2025 (store listings created 18 December 2025; Le Nouveau Réveil covered it on 23 December); Cream and Salmon were added in March 2026. Brand spec list: 36mm, 42.9mm lug-to-lug, 9.9mm with crystal (8.2mm without), 20mm lugs, 10 ATM, 316L steel, locking screw-down crown, single-domed sapphire with AR coating (side not stated), Miyota 1L45, 40-month battery life, -10/+20 sec/month; "case weight of 63 grams" (recorded as head weight). The description's "At just 8.5mm thick" and the Gold and Silver pages' sizing paragraph ("9.4mm in height") conflict with the spec list, which is kept; the sizing paragraph also rounds the lug-to-lug to 43mm. The Gold and Silver 36mm descriptions say the watch takes Vaer's "18mm straps", contradicting the 20mm lug width in the spec list, the ownership guide and the 20mm strap in the SKU; 20mm kept. Screw-down, gasket-sealed caseback per the ownership guide; Vaer describes it as an unstamped caseback for personal engraving (recorded as solid). The Gold has a gold-tone case and bracelet (Le Nouveau Réveil calls the case gold-plated stainless steel; Vaer's pages only say 316L steel), so no coating is recorded at model level. Lume is not mentioned anywhere and is left blank. Each colourway is sold only as a bundle of a black silicone strap plus the Premium Jubilee bracelet (gold-tone on the Gold): five-piece links held by screws (Vaer FAQ on its Premium bracelets); taper, end links and clasp are not published for the C1. The ownership guide says the C1 ships with quick-release leather straps, and Le Nouveau Réveil described the jubilee as a paid option at launch; the current store bundle is recorded. Salmon was sold out on 2026-10-21 with "No restock planned. Sign up for Back in Stock alerts to vote back in!", recorded as discontinued; Cream, Gold and Silver were in stock. Dial colours from the product photos. No hands-on review with measurements was found; a Vivir "review" describing a Miyota 9015 automatic with date, 50m water resistance and 44mm lug-to-lug is clearly invented and not used. No hardening treatment is mentioned.
