About this entry

93% of key specs known. Missing: hardening.

Third-generation Paradive in MKII's ready-to-wear line (Worn & Wound review, June 2018), an homage to the Benrus MIL-W-50717 Type I with a unidirectional bezel, sapphire and a screw-in caseback in place of the original's monocoque case; later given the Type XIII dial and hands (paradive-gen-3-type-xiii-date). Sold with or without a date (paradive-gen-3-non-date); the three bezel inlays are variants. MKII's only current page for it is a sold-out $450 "Deposit-RTW" listing (not recorded as a price) with renders of all six versions and a spec: 41.25mm bezel diameter, 15.54mm thick, 49.50mm end to end, 20mm lugs, 98 g without strap, double-domed sapphire with AR inside only, BGW9, SII NE15 with quickset date, bead-blasted 316L, screw-down crown, 120-click unidirectional bezel, 200 m verified to ISO 6425, timed in 3 positions, natural rubber dive strap or UK MOD style strap. Worn & Wound (2018): $895, rubber strap $25 more, black matte dial, 44.5mm wide across the asymmetric case, date at 4:30, aluminium 12-hour, aluminium dive or acrylic 12-hour inserts (the acrylic with lume moulded under the numerals), and a run of 200 cases made for 2.5mm "fat" spring bars. No other listing remains, so status is left unknown.
