Solar sibling of the Islander Mitchel field watch, sold as the "Babylon HV1000 Titanium Solar Field Watch". Miyota 2170 ring-solar quartz (true no-date; about 4 months on a full charge, ±20 s/month; the seconds hand jumps in 2-second steps when the charge is low); the ring-shaped collector sits inside the case above the dial, so the dials are opaque metal. Blasted titanium case (grade not stated) with a coating the brand says brings surface hardness to HV1000, "about 8x the hardness of the titanium without a coating". 40 x 10.4mm, 47.5mm lug to lug, 20mm lugs, screw-down crown, 100m, solid etched screw-down caseback. Fixed bezel (from photos and the Serious Watches listing). Flat anti-reflective sapphire (side not stated). Super-LumiNova on dial and hands (grade not stated). Weight 42g from the spec table, not stated what was weighed. Woven nylon strap on quick-release pins, 20mm tapering to 18mm at a hardened titanium buckle; strap colour follows the dial (black for white and black dials). No bracelet version is listed. Serious Watches calls the strap "canvas" and lists a 2-year warranty, while Long Island Watch says woven nylon and 1 year; the brand's wording is recorded. All five references were sold out on 2026-10-21 but still listed and not marked discontinued. Miyota's own site lists the 2170 caliber as discontinued.
