Automatic from Swiss Technology Production (STP, also SwissTP), the Fossil Group's movement factory, built on the ETA 2824-2 wheel layout and dimensions (11½ lignes, 25.60mm casing diameter, 26mm overall, 4.60mm high). Figures from Caliber Corner and Grail Watch, which agree: 26 jewels, 28,800 vph, 44h power reserve, hacking, hand winding, bidirectional rotor winding, quick date, Incabloc, Nivaflex mainspring, lift angle 52°. Caliber Corner quotes the STP technical sheets at -0/+15 s/day tested in five positions (amplitude 200-320°), which it likens to the ETA 2824-2 Top grade; no STP sheet was fetched (STP's site did not serve a valid certificate). Volume production began in 2012; the manual-wind STP1-11M (3.70mm, 20 jewels) is a separate caliber. Caliber Corner reports it has been discontinued in favour of the STP1-21. Tier "upper" as an ETA 2824-2 equivalent.
