Small three-hand date quartz from Ronda's powertech line, used mostly in ladies' watches. Ronda product page: 8¾ lignes, case fitting Ø19.40mm (overall Ø20.00mm), movement height 3.00mm (3.25mm over the standard battery), stem height 1.50mm; Swiss Made and Swiss Parts versions, each with 1 jewel and nickel plating; instantaneous rate -10/+20 s/month at 0-50 °C; No. 362 (SR721SW) battery with a standard life of 38 months, 1.5 V; magnetic resistance 18.8 Oe, shock resistance to NIHS 91-10; metal, repairable movement; pulling out the stem cuts consumption by about 70%. Ronda's dial drawings allow the date at 3, 4, 5 or 6 o'clock. Ronda's basic user's manual (08/2023) lists the 585 among its powertech calibers: crown position II quick-sets the date clockwise (no automatic change if set between 10 pm and midnight), position III sets the time with the watch stopped (recorded as hacking). Ronda's technical instructions cover the 582, 583 and 585 together, so the family is "Ronda 58x". Tier "mid" per the guide's Ronda 5xx row.
