About this entry

74% of key specs known. Missing: thickness, weight, crown, bracelet links, clasp micro-adjust.

Zelos's 1960s racing-style bi-compax chronograph with a stepped case, stepped tachymeter ring and high box sapphire, listed by Zelos on 1 August 2022 in steel with three dials (Gulf, Panda, Salmon); the Forged Carbon limited edition is a separate model. All three were sold out on 2026-10-21 and not restocked; Zelos still lists them in its Vitesse Chronograph collection (under Older Collections), not in Discontinued Models, so they are recorded as limited. Edition size: 75 pieces per colourway per SeriousWatches's listing for each dial and Coveted ("75 pieces per version"), and Zelos's caseback photo is numbered 001/075; Zelos's own pages give no figure. Specs from Zelos's product and collection pages: 40mm, 48mm lug to lug, "12.2mm without crystal" (total thickness not published, so not recorded; HiConsumption's 12mm is rounded and doesn't say what it includes), 316L steel with brushed and polished surfaces and a 1200HV hardened coating, 20mm lugs, 50m, box-shaped sapphire with inner AR coating, sapphire display caseback, Super-LumiNova BGW9, beads-of-rice bracelet with a quick adjust clasp and 1.4mm screw pins. The coating also covers the bracelet per SeriousWatches, which adds solid end links. Movement: Zelos names the La Joux-Perret L100 "Bi-compax with column wheel" with a custom rotor; the dial layout (small seconds at 9, 30-minute counter at 3, no date) is the one MLJP sells as the L113, a bi-compax no-date version of the L100 family (the L100 itself is a tri-compax with day and date), so the displayed functions are recorded here. Zelos and SeriousWatches claim bi-directional winding and a 68h power reserve; MLJP's product pages give unidirectional automatic winding and 60h, which the movement file follows. Fixed polished bezel without insert (photos). The lume photos also show green dots at the hour positions of the minute track. The quick adjust clasp's mechanism, crown type, links per row and weight are not stated. Prices: Zelos's launch page set launch prices until 31 August 2022 with an RRP from $1499; HiConsumption gave $1,199 at launch. The store lists $1499 for each dial.
