About this entry

40% of key specs known. Missing: movement, lug-to-lug, weight, water resistance, hardening, AR coating, crown, lume, bracelet offered.

Inspired by New York's Grand Central Terminal and the Mercury streamliner trains, with an off-centre dial and the movement's elevated balance wheel and hand-polished bridges shown on the front. Movement: 'Calibre 7780' or '7780SW Rhodium plated with automatic winding', which Waldhoff says it co-developed with its partner; 26 jewels, 40 hours, 'Frequency: 21600 VPH / 6Hz' (21,600 vph is 3 Hz); hours, minutes and small seconds; no movement file exists. Brand specs: 316L, 41mm, 12.8mm thick (crystal not mentioned), 22mm lugs, sapphire, steel caseback with exhibition window, metallic dial with applied metal parts, diamond-cut hands (no lume mentioned), Italian calf leather with a deployant clasp. Water resistance isn't stated. Red Gold has a rose-gold-tone case (photos). The Grand Central Limited ($899) has a turquoise stone inlay under a yellow-gold IP frame modelled on the terminal's clock; no edition size is given. All listings were sold out on 31 October 2026 (shipping was expected from May 2022) and the model isn't in the store menu.
