Hand-wound Swiss caliber from the 1960s by Marvin, which closed during the quartz crisis. Gerd R. Lang bought Marvin's remaining stock in the 1980s and used the caliber at Chronoswiss (the C.112 regulator movement) and later at Lang 1943 (L43.1), so only new-old-stock examples exist. Zelos used a supply of them, reworked, skeletonised and black-rhodium treated, in the Skyraider 40 Skeleton and the Artemis (both 2025) and says these were the last of its stock. No factory spec sheet found: 17 jewels, 21,600 vph, 46h and Incabloc shock protection are from Caliber Corner's entry for the Chronoswiss C.112 (base caliber Marvin 700); SJX confirms 3 Hz and 46h. Time+Tide describes its architecture as closely related to the ETA/Unitas 6498 but substantially smaller, and SeriousWatches calls it a smaller alternative to the 6497/6498. Diameter, height, stop-seconds and factory accuracy not found. A forum claim that it is the same as the Longines 490 is not confirmed.
