Quartz chronograph with alarm (32,768 Hz tuning-fork crystal), sold to third parties by Seiko Epson and described by Caliber Corner as the trade version of Seiko's 7T62, slightly taller. Layout: central hours and minutes, central chronograph seconds, small seconds at 9, 60-minute counter at 12, alarm subdial at 6, date at 3. The alarm sounds through an 18mm piezoelectric element glued to the caseback and rings for 20 seconds. Rectangular, 12 x 10 1/2 lignes (27.6 x 24.1mm), so no single diameter is recorded. Battery SR927W (395), about 3 years; end-of-life indicator moves the seconds in 2-second steps. Epson's accuracy claim is +/-20 s/month at -5 to +50°C (as quoted by Caliber Corner). No official Epson spec sheet could be found, so figures come from Caliber Corner and Long Island Watch. Tier "mid" alongside other quartz chronographs (VK6x, Ronda 5xx/7xx) in the guide's table.
