Slim multi-function quartz: centre hours, minutes and seconds, small day hand at 9, small date hand at 3 and a 24-hour rotary disc with sun and moon at 6. The disc turns with the hour hand, so it is a day/night indicator, not a moon phase, and `functions` doesn't list it. Epson spec sheet for the current VX3HE (rev. 02, 18 Sep 2020): 10½ lignes, Ø24.00mm outside (21.50mm 3–9, 22.10mm 12–6), casing diameter Ø23.30mm, 3.05mm total height including battery, 0 jewels, 32,768 Hz tuning-fork crystal, ±20 s/month (on wrist), pre-adjusted with no regulation device, SR920SW battery, battery life about 3 years, reset switch at the crown's second position (recorded as hacking), instant date change at the first position, antimagnetic over 1600 A/m. The "A" in VX3HA is a version marker: Caliber Corner says the VX3HA is the first version (sold since at least 2006) and the VX3HE a later one with the same dimensions and hand sizes; brands still quote "VX3HA". Caliber Corner gives an SR916SW battery, Epson's own documents say SR920SW, which is used here. Caliber Corner says made in Japan; Epson's spec sheet doesn't state the country. Tier "entry" per the guide's basic quartz row.
