Solar-powered quartz chronograph sold to third parties by Seiko Epson. Epson's VS75B specification sheet (rev. 21 Feb 2025): 12 lignes, outside size 27.60mm (12-6) x 24.00mm (3-9), casing diameter 27.00mm, 4.4mm total height, 0 jewels, 32,768 Hz tuning fork, accuracy +/-20 s/month on the wrist (-5 to +50C), no regulation device. Display: hours and minutes plus a centre 1/5-second chronograph hand; small seconds at 9, 60-minute chronograph counter at 6 and a 24-hour indicator at 3 (tri-compax layout); date with instant setting; reset switch. The chronograph measures up to 60 minutes in 1/5-second steps. Lithium secondary battery (9.5 x 2.05mm, 5.5mAh, 1.5V) charged by an amorphous silicon cell under the dial (dials must pass more than 20% of light); running time about 6 months from a full charge (not recorded as power_reserve_h, since Epson gives it in months); the seconds hand moves in 2-second steps when the charge is low, after which it runs about a week more; overcharge prevention; anti-magnetic to 1,600 A/m. Caliber Corner adds that the date sits at 4:30, that the VS75A has been produced since at least 2012 and the VS75B is an update from about August 2023 with a different capacitor part, hacking seconds, and "Made in Japan". Watch brands write it as VS75, VS75A or VS75B; this file covers both versions. The 24-hour indicator is not a separate GMT hand, so it is not listed as a function.
