Christopher Ward's first in-house movement, developed with Synergies Horlogères (Biel) and introduced in 2014, the year the two companies merged; the brand now calls it Calibre CW-001 ("formerly SH21", Oracle of Time). Twin mainspring barrels give a 120-hour (five-day) power reserve at 4 Hz; every SH21 is COSC-certified (-4/+6 s/day). SJX describes it as a double-barrel design based on the Valjoux 7750 architecture. Professional Watches gives 164 components, 31 jewels and a tungsten rotor on ball bearings. Jewel counts differ by version: the brand lists 31 for "CW-001/AXC" (Twelve X Black Shadow) and 26 for the skeletonised "SH21 CA" (Twelve X Ti); 31 is recorded here. Date and stop-seconds: the Grail Watch wiki lists a date wheel in the base automatic, and the Twelve X handbook says crown position 3 stops the seconds hand (the skeleton versions have no date display). Grail Watch gives the size as 14 lignes (about 31.6mm) but its height figure (13.45mm) is implausible for a movement, so diameter and height are left blank. Hand-wound and module variants exist (the brand mentions a skeletonised hand-wound SH21).
