About this entry

20% of key specs known. Missing: movement, lug-to-lug, thickness, lug width, weight, case material, hardening, crystal, AR coating, crown, lume, bracelet offered.

The original Blackwater: announced August 2018 as an "automatic complex diver watch limited to 300 pieces", individually numbered, made in benefit of the Swedish Sea Rescue Society (SSRS), sold out within months and delivered from end of May 2019 (brand archive page). Kept separate from the later regular Blackwater because the brand gives it a 300m rating ("can handle 300 meters depth"; the dial in the brand's photo reads "300 meters/30 ATM") against 200m for the regular model, and aBlogtoWatch describes the regular model as "slightly updated". The brand's page names no caliber, so only the movement type is recorded; Master Horologer's 2018 listing is reported in search results to name a Sellita SW200-1 but the page refused our request (403) and could not be checked. Diameter 40.5mm is from the brand's own store tags for this product; no other spec is published by the brand. Time-only (no date window in the brand's photo); 60-minute dive bezel scale read from the photo. The SEK price is what the sold-out archive listing still carries in the store's data, not a confirmed 2018 launch price; the brand says it now trades second-hand at 2-3 times the original price.
