About this entry

60% of key specs known. Missing: movement, weight, hardening, AR coating, crown, lume.

Commemorative watch for the Francis Scott Key Bridge in Baltimore, sold as "Francis Scott Key Limited Edition (Pre-order)": "Production is limited to 500 timepieces", 100% of profits donated to the emergency fund for the victims' families. The dial is cut by wire EDM from steel of the Key Bridge and laser etched; the 316L case is CNC machined, and the brand says about 80% of the watch is made in Maryland. Comes with a rubber and a leather strap and a commemorative coin cut from the bridge steel. Spec table: 42mm (bezel 41mm), 50mm lug-to-lug, "Thickness: 13.5mm" (not said whether it includes the crystal), 22mm lugs, "MD-1 Automatic", domed sapphire (AR coating not mentioned), sapphire display caseback, 100m. The listing says the MD-1 is "regulated in 4 positions to +-8 sec/day"; the MD-1 is made by Maryland Watch Works and its base caliber isn't named (Watch Clicker calls it an ETA 2824 clone), so only the type is recorded. Lume type, crown and weight aren't stated. The listing (published February 2026) gave an estimated delivery of April 2026 and was sold out on 2026-10-25; the pre-order text says the final watch "will be as close to the renders as possible" and that finishing may change.
