About this entry

PD-YS is a separate model-number series on Pagani Design's official store (PD-YS003 to PD-YS038 listed in October 2026), sold alongside the four-digit PD-16xx to PD-18xx codes; the brand doesn't explain the prefix. The YS models sit at the upper end of the store's prices (about $128 to $332 on 2026-10-21) and are mostly fashion-led designs with sapphire crystals. This one is a round automatic on a strap with two subdials and an open balance: a 1-31 pointer date at 9, a 24-hour sun-and-moon day/night indicator at 3 and the balance under a fixed bridge in an aperture at 6. Movement: the brand says "Automatic E3255Y" (paganidesignwatch.com also says E3255Y). Caliber Corner lists the E3255Y as a Chinese automatic found in the PD-YS021 (21 jewels, 21,600 vph, about 40h, no hacking, accuracy -20 to +40 s/day; base caliber unconfirmed) with exactly this layout and says the open balance is "not to be confused with a tourbillon". No manufacturer or spec sheet was found, so no movement file is linked and only the movement type is recorded; complications are from the dial (the day/night indicator isn't one of the database's function values). The page's marketing blurb ("A tourbillon designed for the modern era") is generic text that doesn't describe this watch. Brand specs: 316L, 41mm, 14mm thick, 20mm strap width, screw-down crown, synthetic sapphire (no anti-reflective claim), date display, water resistant "up to 330ft (approximately 145 psi)" (100m, which both figures match; the caseback says 100M and the store's tag 10BAR), 95.6g (not stated what was weighed), strap length 21cm. The spec list says "PU leather strap"; the brand's photos show a fabric-textured strap with contrast stitching and a pin buckle, and paganidesignwatch.com says rubber, so the strap material is recorded as other. From the brand's photos: screw-down display caseback (wrench notches) engraved PD-YS021, 100M and Stainless steel, with a rotor cut out in the PD logo. Lug-to-lug and lume are not stated (paganidesignwatch.com lists "luminous hands"), and no independent review was found. Colour names are the store's: "Gold" is a rose-gold-tone case (the plating isn't stated) and "Silver" steel; the second word is the dial colour. The store's SKUs for the seven colours are "PD-YS021" to "PD-YS027", stock codes that clash with the store's other YS models, so they aren't recorded as references. All colours $138.69 (crossed-out $156.74) and in stock on 2026-10-21; the store page shows 24 customer reviews (4.8/5; one says a Gold Red arrived with a grey case). The store's gallery file names say "gold-black" for photos of all colours (the first shows Gold Brown); the images here are matched to what they show.
