About this entry

PD-YS is a separate model-number series on Pagani Design's official store (PD-YS003 to PD-YS038 listed in October 2026), sold alongside the four-digit PD-16xx to PD-18xx codes; the brand doesn't explain the prefix. The YS models sit at the upper end of the store's prices (about $128 to $332 on 2026-10-21) and are mostly fashion-led designs with sapphire crystals. The store sells this as "PD-YS017 Tourbillon"; it is named by its code here because it is not a tourbillon. The page's blurb speaks of a "Tourbillon aperture", but the spec list gives an "Automatic S X5021" movement with a 36h power reserve, and Caliber Corner lists the X5021 (21,600 vph, 36h, hand-winding, no hacking, Kif-style shock protection, central hours, minutes and seconds, made in China) in the PD-YS017 and PD-YS018 and describes its open balance at 6 as giving a "faux-tourbillon appearance". The brand's photos agree: the balance wheel and hairspring sit in an aperture at 6 under a bridge screwed down on one side, with no rotating carriage. The usual "Seagull X5021" attribution is unconfirmed and no manufacturer spec sheet was found, so no movement file is linked and only the movement type is recorded (as for the PD-YS018). paganidesignwatch.com calls it a "Skeleton Automatic". From the photos: skeletonised dial and movement with central hours, minutes and seconds and no date (paganidesignwatch.com's "Auto Date" is generic keyword text). Brand specs: 316L, 40mm, 14mm thick, 22mm strap width, screwed crown, sapphire with hard coating and anti-reflective treatment (side not stated), water resistant to 330ft/100m (10 bar), 85.7g (not stated what was weighed), strap length 21.3cm. From the brand's photos: cushion-shaped case with the crown between two guards, display caseback held by four screws and engraved "100M Water resistant" over a black-finished skeletonised movement with a Pagani Design rotor, textured strap with contrast stitching (leather per paganidesignwatch.com) and a signed pin buckle. Lug-to-lug and lume are not stated, and no independent review was found. Colour names are the store's and refer to the bridge colour: Black and Blue have a steel case, Green and Yellow (gold-tone bridges) a black-coated case (coating not stated). All colours $156.74 (crossed-out $170.99), all in stock on 2026-10-23. The listing was created in January 2025; the store page shows 5 customer reviews (4.2/5), one saying the watch "doesn't look like" the photos. The store's gallery file names say "black" for photos of every colour; the images here are its per-colour variant photos.
