Crispin Jones's memento mori design: the hour hand reads "remember" and the minute hand "you will die"; the photos also show a red central seconds hand. One of the one-off pieces he made for a 2005 exhibition, first sold in 2007 as a 100-piece edition (release year from the brand's own account), later reissued as the first watch in the permanent collection, in several sizes and styles over the years. Brand specs for the current version: "single jewel quartz mechanism" (caliber not named; the store tags it "Swiss made"), sapphire crystal, 5 ATM, 316L steel case, 18mm black leather strap with white stitch, "medium/unisex" size (37mm in the store's tags). The current SKU (10a) and photos show the redesigned short-lug case; lug-to-lug and thickness from the brand's current size-guide graphic shown on this page, which labels the case 32mm across against the 37mm in the tags and its own caption (see the A Perfectly Useless Afternoon 37mm notes).
