About this entry

40% of key specs known. Missing: movement, lug-to-lug, lug width, weight, water resistance, hardening, AR coating, crown, lume.

Bernhardt Manifest series: each watch is a one-off ("Piece Unique") built by Bernhardt's in-house watchmakers around a restored vintage American pocket-watch movement and its original dial. The Pioneer (listed October 2026 as "Blued hands") uses an Elgin movement, circa 1920s, with a black-printed enamel dial with Roman numerals. Its spec table repeats the Architect's movement line ("Illinois ... adjusted to three positions", 15 jewels), but the description, the origin line, the dial and the movement in the caseback photo all say Elgin, so Elgin is recorded and the copied three-position and jewel claims are left out. Brand specs: purpose-built 316L steel case, 36mm, "~12mm" thick (crystal inclusion not stated), sapphire crystal and display back, riveted U.S.-made leather strap, assembled and finished in the USA. Still for sale on 2026-10-25.
