Diffusion brand of Japanese independent watchmaker Hajime Asaoka, who designs every model; the first release, Bunkyo Tokyo, launched in June 2019. Watches are marked "Made in Japan". Almost every release is a limited or small-batch edition sold through time-limited online order windows (priced in USD outside Japan) and at the brand's own salons in Aoyama (Tokyo) and Shanghai; there is no permanent catalogue, so model files describe individual limited releases. Some early editions were allocated to Sincere Fine Watches. The brand domain kurono-tokyo.com did not resolve on 2026-10-20; the store is kuronotokyo.com.
