"Pan-Scandinavian" brand founded in Copenhagen by Anders Brandt and Simon Goldeman (idea in 2015; the Swiss-made ARC-I proof-of-concept series came out in 2018). James Thompson (Black Badger, Sweden) joined in 2020 as part-owner and Chief of Materials, hence the Fordite and other experimental dials. The Arc II is manufactured in Denmark from mostly Scandinavian parts; Worn & Wound gave USD 3,950 for the 2023 D'Arc Matter Colours. Sold direct (Shopify store in EUR at arcanaut.watch; arcanaut.com did not load on 2026-10-23) and via retailers such as Collective Horology. The sheet's "Australia, 2009, Flieger" details are wrong; its "Denmark, Fordite, pan-Scandinavian" line under Bravur describes Arcanaut.
